Worry, a stimulant pill, habit-forming, dumps adrenaline
into our systems = a 'fight or flight'
response. We can find a better way to fly. ©2010 by
Charles Henry
-
Being Happy is a Soother, a Choice, a Decision we make.
Not Easy at first, but it can become a very good habit
worth developing. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Positive Thoughts open a door in our minds inviting like
thoughts in. Other thoughts may attack and that is where
forgiveness may help us. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Forgiveness is looking past the darkness to see the
Light the darkness was made to hide. The Light simply
shines the darkness away. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Love is not so much a 'doing' but a 'being',
not so much a 'receiving' but a 'giving'.
Love is “For Giving". What we give comes back to
us. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Re-Write a Bad Script from the Past. Turn a Bad Story
into a Better Story with a Better Ending. We are
scripting all the time, mostly unaware of it. © 2010 by
Charles Henry
-
Humor might be a gentle way of saying "Thanks but
No Thanks" to those who see illusion as if it were
real and ask us to do the same. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Reality is an un-changeable witness to Light, Whose form
may change, but Whose Content always remains the same. ©
2010 by Charles Henry
-
Illusion - Seeing the magician saw the lady in half and
believing it to be real. The forms illusions take may
change but their content does not. © 2010 by Charles
Henry
-
Forgiveness is something we practice giving others until
we can finally give it to ourselves © 2010 by Charles
Henry
-
Time is only the measure of How Long it takes for us to
Get It Right, and when we do, time ceases to have any
relevance at all . © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Separation is only the illusion of darkness. The Light
still shines all around us. It is only our focus on the
dark that makes it seem real. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Appearances can be deceiving. Look beyond the Form to
the Content, Be Amazed. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Truth is simple, it is only our misplaced need to make
it appear more interesting and complex that confounds
and confuses us. © 2010 by Charles Henry

-
Complexity appears somehow comforting. It seems to give
us a false sense of security by not knowing the answer
to anything. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Appreciation is highly under-appreciated. To appreciate
is to say 'I Like It', 'I Value it',
and by this we bring it into ourselves. © 2010 by
Charles Henry
-
Create or Judge - Make or Break, we are doing one or the
other all the time, mostly unaware. How we feel reflects
what we've been Thinking. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
A
Thought causes a Feeling. Change the Thought and the
Feeling changes automatically. Can it really be that
simple? Try it and see. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
A
Thought expresses Energy. Energy is neither good nor bad
but can be perceived as so. It is with our Thoughts that
we may play. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Thoughts come and go so quickly that we frequently
forget what we were thinking about. My point is
simply...OOPS, I forgot. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Focus Focus Focus - that's the point. Now what was
the question? © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
By
focusing on the Question, we miss the Answer. Try
focusing on the Answer and see what Question comes to
mind. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
That which seems New is a reminder of that which has
simply been forgotten for a moment. As we re-member, we
re-mind ourselves of it. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Questing is looking for something. This state of mind
makes it difficult to recognize when we have found it.
We can Relax and simply enjoy the journey. © 2010 by
Charles Henry
-
Light vs dark, Love vs hate, Reality vs illusion, At-Onement
vs separation, Truth vs perception: we can choose where
to place our focus. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
By
choosing Truth we focus beyond perception, letting in
the Light to illuminate our minds and our hearts. Light
shines the darkness away. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Illusion is tempting because we can imagine the most
outrageous scenes and have them appear as if real. Their
content, however, remains illusion. © 2010 by Charles
Henry
-
Reality reflects a truthful content empowered by Love,
which can be forgotten for a moment but cannot be
changed into something else It is not. © 2010 by Charles
Henry

-
Love established us like unto Itself. This is Reality. We
can forget it for a moment, but we cannot change it. And if
we really understood it, we would not want to. © 2010 by
Charles Henry
-
Being Happy is a Gift from That Which created us. It is
ours. We can forget we have it but we can never lose it. We
are here to remember it. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Remembering has 2 parts: - Forgetting/forgiving the past. -
Then focusing on the Present. As the past goes, there is
room for the Present to take its place. © 2010 by Charles
Henry
-
The Present really is a gift, a present, we give to
ourselves. We can open this gift again and again with every
passing moment. © 2010 by Charles Henry
- We
can really only focus on one thought at a time. Thoughts
come & go so quickly it seems like we are multi-tasking but
this is simply not so. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Meditation is a single point of focus. It is a practice of
mental discipline. The more we practice, the better we
focus. © 2010 by Charles Henry
- As
we focus on Right-Minded thoughts of Love, Compassion,
Health, Abundance, Happiness, These focused thoughts will
attract their own witnesses. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Above all else, be gentle to yourself, for you are already
what you wish to be, having only forgotten this Truth for a
moment. Truth waits. © 2010 by Charles Henry
- By
giving compassion to others, we are re-minded that we must
have had it in the first place in order to have given it.
How quickly we seem to forget. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Our Thoughts attract witnesses to their content. Cause and
Effect at its basic level. The point is – What are we
thinking about? © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Who's in charge here? US = Universal Spirit. expressing
Itself through, and as, you and me. Glad we got that
straight. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
Where's the Drama in knowing our lives are unfolding
just as they should be? Drama is uncertainty. Truth is
certain. We choose with every thought. © 2010 by Charles
Henry
-
Meditation may be a gentle focus on one thing, a breath, a
word, a sound, a tree, a purring cat in your lap. All are an
invitation to Truth to enter. © 2010 by Charles Henry
-
At-One-Ment may be like the Whole exceeding the sum of Its
Parts, yet each Part being a container of the Whole. © 2010

+ 2 = 5 may be a mistake yet those who know better are
not angered by it. A good teacher would not punish but
look for a way to help correct it . ©2010 by Charles
Henry
-
Correcting errors may be like pulling weeds from the
garden. By focusing only on the weeds, we tend to lose
sight of the garden around us. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
I
try to tread gently upon the earth rather than bulldoze
my way through each moment. But sometimes it just feels
good to clear the path. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Duality-The world of Separates; good-bad, right-wrong,
love-hate, light-dark, reality-illusion, with infinite
degrees separating the poles. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Our inner focus may be placed where we choose. What we
outwardly perceive informs us of the nature of our inner
choice ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
We
may choose to let the world we see tell us how to feel,
but this is rather like putting the proverbial cart in
front of the horse. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Enlightenment is “Being In the Light". There is no
where else to actually Be except "In the Light".
All else is simply the illusion of Being somewhere else.
©2010 by Charles Henry
-
"In
the Light" is seeing our At-one-ment with Truth. In
the 'dark' is imagining our separation and
then perceiving it as if it were truth. ©2010 by Charles
Henry
-
Remembering is what we do after we have forgotten. We
must have Known Before, else how would we realize we had
forgotten in the first place. ©2010 by Charles Henry
REMEMBER
-
Words are sort of like coat hooks, serving no function
until we hang something on them. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
From a TV doc: It was not so much that, given a brush,
canvas & oils, the elephant could paint, but more that
s/he knew when the picture was finished. ©2010 by
Charles Henry
-
The Law of Attraction reminds me of the Law of Gravity.
They are both working all the time, even though we may
not be aware of them. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
The ability to be Grateful would seem to suggest that
even in a world full of chaos, there may be some things
for which we can give thanks. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Life sometimes seems like a rollercoaster: A brief,
intense period of Extreme Drama followed by sheer
boredom. We can seek to smooth out the extremes. ©2010

A
Moment of Peace extends Itself thru the past and into
the future, an investment that pays dividends in the
present. We can choose our focus. ©2010 by Charles Henry
PAST FUTURE PRESENT
-
1st Law of Thermodynamics - Energy can be neither
created nor destroyed. Only its apparent form may
change. Our ‘ forms ' may change but we go on and
on and on and…. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Eternity may best be taken in small doses, one moment at
a time. By focusing on this moment we may extend it into
the next moment. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
'Forever'
is not so much a measure of time as it is a state of
mind. Where is the urgency of time in 'eternity'?
©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Our 'To-Do' lists are expectations we impose
upon ourselves. We tend to measure our worth by our
accomplishments. We are more than what we do. ©2010 by
Charles Henry
-
When we say "Today I will do great things"
implies that yesterday we didn't and tomorrow is
still up for grabs. How about " Today I Am ".
©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Today we are no more than we were yesterday and no less
than we will be tomorrow. That Which We Are is constant,
only our perceptions change. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
By
including everyone and everything within our 'world
view' we acknowledge our family ties. We are not
all alone, we are all one family. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
There may be many apples on the trees, but they all come
from apple trees, all the same Source.
"Individual" may be defined as
"indivisible". ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Sitting quietly, doing nothing, even if only for a
moment, invites the Light of Love in to inspire right
thinking which leads to right doing. ©2010 by Charles
Henry
-
“
Doing” is what we do. Being 'Doers' is fine
and dandy. Doing 'Being" may offer us a
different perspective on that which we do when we do it.
©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Feeling anxious is when what we are doing conflicts with
what we would rather be doing. It is possible to
appreciate whatever it is we do when we are in the
correct state of Mind. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Some things are necessary to do. Having made this
decision, we may be pleased at having accepted it and
look forward to doing the un-necessary. ©2010 by Charles
Henry
-
Un-necessary 'doings' do not have to be done,
but what we may like to do. Maybe we could expand 'necessaries'
to include a few un-necessaries. ©2010 by Charles Henry

High Expectations may be more than simply getting up &
out of bed, but not necessarily so. We can practice
celebrating the little things. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Degrees of measure are arbitrary. Even the smallest
accomplishments may be thought of as being part of a
Grand Adventure. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
There is an Ultimate Truth and It includes us in
It's definition of Itself ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Free will means we are free to choose in what to
believe. Truth does not depend on our belief in It. Our
Right-Minded perceptions do. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
We
are as children who have run away from home, alone &
fearful. We have been away so long we forgot where home
is & doubt that it still exists. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Home awaits only our remembrance of It for Its Light to
brighten our path. There is no degree of darkness that
the Light cannot dispel. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Hope is more than wishful thinking. Hope says we may
remember more of Love & Compassion today than we did
yesterday. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
The more of Love & Compassion we remember today, the
more we have to give tomorrow. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Giving is really sharing. What is given in Love is not
lost to us, but is strengthened in both the giver and
the receiver. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Living life is a one-way street. There are no U-Turns.
There are different lanes but all are going in the same
direction, Home. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Problems may better be faced from a state of mind that
sees the answers on a level other than that which
noticed them in the first place. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Inner Peace - an elusive essence that appears easier to
identify thru its apparent absence in our lives - part
of our up-side-down thinking. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
A
Moment of Peace extends Itself thru the past and into
the future, an investment that pays dividends in the
present. We can choose our focus. ©2010 by Charles Henry
-
Latency- a “cooling-off “ period that keeps all of our
thoughts from manifesting instantly, giving us time to
correct our mis-thoughts. ©2010 by Charles Henry
