Article # 9 – What Is Reality? Reality is our Home. Reality is Where we come from. Reality is our Source. Reality is Where we will return once we forgive our illusion of separation.
Reality is Truth. Reality is Light. Reality is Love. Reality is un-changeable, un-alterable, eternal. Reality is for ever and ever exactly the same as It was 10,000 years ago, as It will be 10,000 years in the future. Reality extends of Itself for there is nothing else but Reality. One piece of Reality is exactly like any other piece of Reality. One piece of Reality expresses all of the attributes of the totality of Reality. There is not more Reality here and less Reality there. Each piece of Reality expresses all of Reality. Reality, Itself, exceeds the sum of Its parts. But, no part of Reality is less than Reality Itself. These are all fundamental expressions using the symbology of words. Language is unable to capture the true all-inclusiveness of Reality. Reality can only be experienced. The experience of Reality can be shared. This sharing of Reality is inherent in the very meaning of the word. If any part of Reality sees itself as separate from the Whole, a mistake has been made and a transitory state of illusion ensues. Reality is not touched by this mistake because Reality knows all of Itself, all of the time. This little part of Reality that has mistakenly seen itself as separate is in need only of forgiveness, a correction for the mistake it made. Reality has no need of forgiveness. Reality is incapable of forgiving because Reality is incapable of condemning. Reality is Light. Reality is Love. Reality is the Light of Love. Reality is me. Reality is you. Reality is experienced only when I share this combined Identity with you and everyone else. Reality is not changed in any way by our confusion of identity. Our experiences of reality are a part of our illusion of being separate from Reality. These experiences are perceptions. And so, these perceptions are not a part of Reality. Perceptions change, they are alterable, they are not eternal, by definition. Perceptions, at best, may witness to Reality. At worst, they witness to their source, which is illusion. Perceptions may inform us that the magician has, indeed, sawed the lady in half. Perceptions may also inform us that the lady was not sawed in half, it only appeared, for a moment, that she was. Perceptions may inform us that we had indeed become separated from Reality. Perceptions may also inform us that we have not become separated from Reality, it only appeared, for a moment that we were. Perceptions are a part of the world of illusion, a world that stands apart from Reality. A world we will look into more closely in our next article. Author: Charles Henry, MS, DD,© 2009
